Passive backplane is one of the components of the industrial computer and a set of expansion slots, ISA, PCI, PICMG.
Backplane, usually installed in the building of the industrial computer, but can be used independently. As a computational kernel used board computers with bus expansion ISA, PCI, PICMG 1.0, PICMG 1.0 64-bit. Board computers installed in one of the slots expansion backplane, resulting in a passive backplane becomes an extension of the internal bus computer.
