The event was organized within the framework of the Swiss-Ukrainian Project "Strengthening MSME Business Membership Organizations in Ukraine", which is being implemented by the United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine (UNDP) in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and with the support of Switzerland.
On December 17, 2024, the final conference of the GDT Textile project was held in Kyiv, dedicated to the discussion of the roadmap for the twin transition of the light industry of Ukraine.

Saturn Data International Company was represented at the forum by the President of the Company Rostyslav Sherstyuk.
During the conference, the first version of the Roadmap was presented, which defines the key areas of digital and green transformation of the light industry. The document was developed taking into account European methods and experience, including ADMA and SIRI, as well as the results of the Twin Transition project.
The conference participants discussed the main components of the Roadmap, including:
- Innovation ecosystems and clusters: development of cooperation between enterprises, scientific institutions and other stakeholders to stimulate innovation.
- Digitalization of production processes: implementation of modern digital technologies to improve the efficiency and competitiveness of enterprises.
- Green transformation: transition to environmentally friendly technologies and practices aimed at reducing the impact on the environment.
- Development of human capital: training personnel capable of working in a digital and green economy.
- Financial support mechanisms: attracting investment and financial instruments for the implementation of planned changes.
The discussion also touched on the challenges facing the industry and ways to overcome them. In particular, the participants noted the need to consolidate the efforts of all stakeholders for the successful implementation of the twin transition.
The GDT Textile project is being implemented with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Ukraine and is aimed at promoting the sustainable development of the light industry through the introduction of digital and green technologies.
