The 40-th jubilee session of the Ukrainian Quality Leaders Club Council and the 8-th session of Central and Eastern Europe Quality Leaders Club Council held in Kramatorsk, Ukraine, on September 16, 2010

Representatives of leading enterprises of Ukraine, Russia and Belarus has been welcomed by leading specialists of JSC "Novokramatorsky Machine-building Plant" (NKMZ), led by their leader – president of NKMZ, Hero of Ukraine, people's deputy of Ukraine, Doctor of economic sciences Skudar Georgiy Markovich.

The report "Experience on the path to perfection of JSC NKMZ” and the presentation "Deployment strategy of thrift manufacturing - the concept of 5S system (workshops service of technical training) was made by Skudar G.M. - president of NKMZ.

Also, the participants were addressed by leading specialists of JSC NKMZ, Kalita P.Y. - president of the Clubs of quality leaders of Ukraine and countries of Central and Eastern Europe, other participants of the meeting.

The event took place on the basis of JSC "Novokramatorsky Machine-building Plant", because this honor was given to the enterprise as to the winner of the 12-th Ukrainian National Quality Contest in the category "Large enterprises".

JSC "Novokramatorsky Machine-building Plant" (NKMZ) - Ukraine's largest and world famous manufacturer of unique highly productive, rolling, metallurgical, press- forging, hydraulic, mining, handling machinery and special equipment.

Novokramatorsky Machine-building Plant was commissioned in September 1934. From that time NKMZ - the plant of individual machine-building for heavy industry, designed and produced 102 rolling mills, 189 mixers for storage and transportation of cast iron, 45 forging hammers, 20 units for welding cones and bowls for backfill aggregates of blast furnaces, 142 presses of various purposes and power, 17 machines for slag runoff from ladle cars, 103 horizontal forging machines, 2002 walking excavators, 18 rotary and mining complexes.

NKMZ is actively involved in space programs. It is the largest supplier of rolls for rolling mills, unique castings and forgings, and produces a wide range of consumer goods and auto parts.
