10-13 of February 2010, in Yaremche, Ivano-Frankovsk region, hosted the 5th International Scientific and Practical Seminar “Resource saving - is a strategic direction of the Ukrainian housing and communal services development”.
The seminar was attended by representatives of local authorities, managers of housing and communal services, heads and specialists of water water-supply companies and companies of water-supply equipment.
Company specialists: Alexei Shepetko, Dmitry Shubovich, Artem Shinkar made a report “Experience in the construction of automatic control system, dispatch, and industrial communication systems on the basis of Saturn Data International Company decisions”.
In the report a wide range of solutions was presented for the following industries:

housing and communal services (facilities management, network monitoring and detection of accidents);

energy (energy accounting, dispatching of electricity networks);
-
mining and mineral concentration (management of mineral concentration process at mining and processing plants, dispatching of mineral concentration plant);
-
data centers (energy supply monitoring, climate control, monitoring of equipment).
In the field of housing and communal services specialized software, developed by Saturn Data International Company, can solve the following tasks:
- centralized counting of electric power and water consumption at well sites and at sites of large customers;
- pumping equipment control;
- monitoring and storing of network parameters (pressure in water supply networks, levels at objects of drainage);
- access control on objects.
For today was successfully implemented and put into operation the system of water and heat network control and monitoring, at a number of facilities in housing sector, which allowed to reduce costs for maintenance of facilities, to shorten the time of detection and elimination of accidents and impartially evaluate the condition of the equipment and networks.
The system of water losses monitoring at enterprise distribution network was also introduced.
Seminar main topics:
problems of energy and resource saving at enterprises of water-supply and sewer system;
experience of the best water suppliers in Ukraine and in foreign companies in resource economy;
effective methods of dealing with water losses, water mains diagnosis;
experience in organization of efficient work in water supply, drainage and heat supply companies.
